Picking out the Christmas Tree

Ray and Betty have the tradition of picking out their Christmas Tree's as a family. We went last Friday with everyone and Soren picked out the perfect tree. Grandma Betty and Grandpa Ray also gave Soren is frist ornament and music to decorate the tree too. We had a great time!

Blog's are such a pain. It is one more thing in life I don't feel I am keeping up with - along with house work, real work, working out, and many other kinds of work, including blog work! Welcome Baby Soren!

Soren Eyring Moffat was born on Monday, October 20 at 8:40 p.m. He is a big boy -- 9 lb 2 oz and 22 inches long!

He is already surrounded by a big, loving family and two tired and very happy parents. He has big, beautiful eyes and light blond hair.

Soren shares his birthday with his aunt Tanya, aunt Liz, cousin Megan and other friends and loved ones. Welcome to our family, Soren!

Osmond Baby Shower

The Osmond Ladies threw us a couples shower and we had such a great time! Here are some of the pictures from the big night.

Vegas Baby!!

Last week my mom and I took a quick trip to Vegas to go shopping...for the baby. We had such a great time! We hit the stores just right and everyone had cute stuff on clearance! We even went into one store that had racks and racks marked $2.99 - so we had already pick a bunch of stuff out and then when I was being rung up they were all $1.99 or .99 cents. So I ran back to to the racks and got more stuff.

We had such a great time. We didn't find bedding (my main goal) but that was okay. It was a blast spending the day with my mom.

Since we have been home we finally have a "theme" for the nursery and my mom found some perfect stuff at TJ Maxx for CHEAP!

Hour and a half with the Prophet

Can you believe this?? I had been working on getting a video message from President Monson for 3 months for an event Sutherland is hosting on Thursday. Last Friday, I got the great news that President Monson was willing an able on Monday (the same week as the event) to film the message. We were so excited! Katie and I went to the filming of the message and spent an hour an a half listening to the Prophet tell stories about his time with world leaders and traveling around the world. We got to ride with him through the underground tunnels between his office and the conference center where the message was filmed - - on a golf cart. You should have seen the faces of the people we passed who were on their way to the temple.

When we took this picture with him he said "one blone and one brunette, I don't know how my wife will feel about this".

What an experience! Certainly one I will remember for the rest of my life.

Is it odd I check our blog for new posts and pics?

I mean, what on earth makes me think there is going to be something new on MY blog? I certainly haven't put it there. Pictures can't upload themselves. But...nonetheless I have added my own blog to my list of regular sites I check. Much to my chagrin - nothing ever changes.

Its not a girl

I guess I should have realized that voting for boy or girl on a blog site didn't work like American Idol. It isn't a popularity contest...unfortunately. I am getting more excited as the day's go by. Steve and I went to Footlocker and bought some cute little Michael Jordan onzies. My Doc also moved my due date up to 10-20-08. So there it is - nothing else to look forward to until October!
